Introduction
Bringing 25 years of ministry experience to the table, Tony ministers to the body of Christ from the heart of a shepherd. As a “sheep-forward” speaker and aspiring author, Tony concentrates on what holds believers back from maturity and how to accelerate maturity and growth within a congregation.
Beginnings
Tony’s upbringing was very difficult, to state it mildly. Tony grew up a sickly child, with a single mother that was anti-theistic and was frequently gone from the home. Eventually, this led Tony to rebel and seek the outcasts and turn to drugs, alcohol, and perversion from a young age.
Encounter and Salvation
When Tony was only eighteen, and living in the pleasures of this world, God reached into his life in a personal and direct way. Hearing the voice of the Lord simply say, “It’s time to come home,” Tony knew exactly what the Word meant and took action on it. Tony got plugged in to a local church and began intensive, personal discipleship. After some time, Tony went into an even more intensive 12-month discipleship program. Graduating from the program in 1998, Tony immediately started to serve in the ministry.
The New Work
Tony stepped out of public ministry around 2013 but continued in lay ministry. In 2016, Tony started getting sick from an unknown condition. In 2021, the condition was finally discovered to be neurological in nature and impacted all the body systems. In 2022, the condition worsened to the point that Tony needed to be put on a ventilator as his body was no longer functioning well enough to breathe on its own. On April 11, 2022, the ventilator was discontinued. The prayer was, “Lord, take me, or Lord heal me. Regardless, be glorified!” On May 12, 2022, a dramatic miracle occurred. While there was not a “complete healing,” Tony was now not only not dying, but he was strengthened supernaturally where the walker he once needed was no longer needed. In the wake of this healing, God started to pull on Tony’s heart to restart a public ministry journey. Where we learned to trust Jesus even if we did not understand His purposes or ways, we want to confront that within the Church. Where Tony got to the point of being at peace ready to be with Jesus, there is a passion to see people have that same freedom.
